Schroeder were married
Saturday evening in a
double ring ceremony in St.
Mary's Catholic Church in
Windthorst. Father Nich-
olas Fuhrman, assistant
pastor of the church,
officiated.
Parents of the couple are
Mr. k Mrs. Ron McBride of
Wichita Falls and Mr. k
Mrs. Charles Schroeder of
Windthorst.
When given in marriage
by her father, the bride wore
a formal ivory gown of
chiffon and silk Venise lace.
The raised bodice featured a
Queen Anne neckline trim-
med In Venise appliques,
pearls and irridescents. The
long bishop sleeves were
cuffed in lace and had an
insert of lace. The full skirt
with a lace hem formed a
chapel length train. Her veil
of illusion was trimmed in
matching lace and drifted
from a Juliet cap. She
carried a bouqet of silk
flowers in tones of candle-
light and gold.
Miss Cathy Griffin was
maid of honor and wore a
formal yellow gown of Qian a
and chiffon. The natural
waist bodice had spaghetti
straps. The long sleeved
chiffon jacket had a flounce
at the neckline and front and
formed a A-line skirt.
Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Mark McBride, the bride’s
sister-in-law; Miss Judy
Schroeder, the groom’s
sister and Mrs. Sammy
Bitner of Lubbock. All were
dressed like the maid of
honor and carried yellow silk
flowers.
Barry Schenk was best
man and groomsmen were
Ron Hoff, Don Hoff, and
Bud Conrady. Trish
Coleman was flower girl and
ring bearer was Randy
Klein. Ushers were Mark
McBride and Scott Schro-
eder, brothers of the couple.
Grady and Tony Schenk and
Wilfred Hoff were servers.
The church decorations
included spiral candlebra,
unity candle and flowers of
yellow and cream.
Mr. and Mrs. McBride
hosted a reception in the St.
Mary's Parish Hall following
the ceremony. A four tiered
wedding cake centered the
bride's table and a horse-
shoe shapped cake of

hosts for the rehearsal
dinner in their home.
For the wedding trip to
Louisiana, the bride wore a
white silk shin waist dress.
The couple will make their
home in Windthorst after
they return.
Reception assistants in-
cluded Mrs. Mike McBride
and Miss Sharon Anderle at
the bride's table and Miss
Denise Humphris and Miss
Tina Segers at the groom’s
table and Mrs. Farris
Hightower at the food table.
The tables were covered in
candleight satin over lace.
The new Mrs. Schroeder
is a graduate of Rider High
School were she was FFA
Sweetheart and Rodeo
Sweethean. She is employ-
ed by Tractor Supply Co.
Schroeder is a graduate of
Windthorst High School and
was in FFA and on the land
judging team. He is
self-employed.
Miss Brenna Yvonne
Conner and Mr. Lee Frank
Vieth were married Friday,
April 30, 1982 in Our
Reademer Lutheran Church
of Wichita Falls with the
Rev. Todd Dittloff officiat-
ing. Parents of the couple
are Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Conner of 5001 Diane,
Wichita Falls and Mrs.
Birtie Vieth of Scotland,
Texas k the late Bill Vieth.
The Honor attendants were
Nicol Nunn and Tommy
Vieth. Bridesmaid was Jill
Conner and Groomsman was
Bobby Don Lewis. The
brides parents gave the
reception in the fellowship
hall. The bride attended
Rider High School. The
groom is employed by Crawk
Drilling Company. The
couple will live in Wichita
Falls.
First Baptist
To Honor
Young
The First Baptist Church
will honor their Minister of
Music and Youth, Richard
Young this Sunday, May 16.
Richard has resigned the
church to move to Fort
Worth to enroll as a full-time
student at the Southwestern
Baptist Theological Semi-
nary.
Richard will be singing a
concert during the 7:00 pm
service and there will be a
fellowship in his honor
following the evening ser-
vice.
Dr. Bill Potts said, “I
know Richard has meant
much to our entire com-
munity. We would like to
invite all his friends to be a
part of this Sunday night’s
service, which will be
Richard’s last service with
us.”
Rides
(AFDC). CAC is, however,
unable to transport non-
ambulatory indivduals, that
is, people who are bedridden
or in wheelchairs. CAC is
also unable to transport
critical emergency cases.
In addition, in order to
establish eligibility, the
caller will be asked to give
their current recipient num-
ber (SSI, MAO, or AFDC).
