Jennifer Blaine Putin and Brian
Henry Uptmore were married July 31,
1993 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in
Thomdale. Pastor Vernon M. Appel
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Kent
and Julie Patin of Thomdale. Her
grandparents were the late Henessey
and Mabel Becnel and also the late
Gerald and Juanita Patin, all of Hous-
ton.
The groom is the son of Ted and
Adele Uptmore of West. His grand-
parents are Henry and Ullie Matulaof
West, Angeline Uptmore of Waco and
the late Herman Uptmore of West.
The bride wore her mother's 31
yearoldweddingdress. Another high-
light of the ceremony was the solo
sung by Brian for Jennifer entitled,
"Cross My Heart."
Attending as maid of honor was
Charlotte Magee. Bridesmaids were:
Alisa Collins, Julie Beauchamp and
Cathy Holden. Ashley Tidmore was
the flower girl.
Tim Uptmore was the best man.
Groomsmen were: Ted Uptmore, John
Uptmore and TimPatin. Kyle Uptmore
was the ringbearer and Chanan
Uptmore was the Bible carrier. Ush-
ers were Kenny Patin, Jimmy Patin
and Tony Bohnert.
Following the ceremony, a dinner
and dance reception was held at the
Knights of Columbus Hall in Taylor.
Amy Uptmore registered the guests.
Along with the dinner and dancing,
the guest; enjoyed watching a video
of Brian and Jennifer. The video told
their life stories through music and
pictures. -The pictures ranged from
their early childhood to the present
and surprisingly showed many paral-
lels throughout their lives.
The bride is a graduate from the
University of Texas at Austin where
she received a B.A. Degree in Dance.
She owns and operates Jennifer's
Academy of Dance in Taylor and
West.

of his parents, Mike and Cindy Marak

Jimmy is the grandson of Ed and
Helen Marak of Irving and Jack and
Ska Edwards of Celleyville, and
grandnephew of Rose Hlavenka. His
godparents are Eddie and Cathy
