Hilary Adamson
Theodore H. (Ted) Ray
Theodore H. (Ted) Ray, age 73, of West, passed away early Tuesday
afternoon, August 17,1993 at Baylor Medical Center in Garland. He spent the
last month with his son, Robert, in Richardson.
Graveside services were 10 a.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco,
with Msgr. Mark Deering officiating.
Mr. Ray was born April 13,1920 in Waco, the son of Ted and Ermine Ray.
He married Alice B. Dyer on May 3,1942 in San Diego, California. She
preceded him in death on March 13,1991. He was a mechanic and maintenance
supervisor for the Border Patrol Academy in south Texas for 35 years before
retiring in 1976 and moving to West, He was a member of the Corpus Christi
Masonic Lodge. He was a Catholic.
He served his country proudly with the United States Marine Corps during
World War II from May 1938 to August 1945 and was honorably discharged

Charlie Sykora, age 80 of West, passed away Saturday night, August 21,

Graveside services were 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Cemetery near West,

Mr. Sykora was bom October 30,1912 in Haskell County, Texas and had
