The future bride is a 1978
graduate of West High School
and is employed at West Rest
Haven.
The future groom is a 1977
honor graduate of West High
School. He is now employed at
Texas Power & Light in Temple,
Texas. He will attend the
University of Texas at Arlington
in the fall.

Jack Adams HI, grandson of
Ludvik Zapalac of West Rest
Haven, departed July 26 from
DEW non-stop to London for a 3
week tour of England. Jack is
anu.ug a group of Dallas area
youth forming the Texas Soccer
Ambassadors.
During their stay in Leeds,
the group will be given special
coaching and has been sche-
duled to play several games
with various soccer teams from
England.
The group will also visit
Scotland and attend pro games.
Among the many sights of
London, the group will visit
Buckingham Palace, Westmini-
ster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of
Parliament and The Tower of
London.
Jack, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Adams, Jr. of North
Carrollton, is a junior at R.L.
Turner High School and a
member of the Turner Soccer
Team.

Reunion Set
The annual Deiterman reu-
nion will be held at the Parish
Hall in Tours, on Sun., August
13.
All Deitermans and their
families and guests are invited
to attend. Come visit, enjoy
good food, free games and
prizes.
Bring pictures of your loved
ones who have died to be placed
on the memorial table for the
memorial service.
Everyone is asked to bring
food for their families. Drinks,
paper plates, cups, etc. will be
furnished.
Registration starts at 10 a.m.
and dinner will be served at
noon.

To Meet
The pep squad meeting for all
Middle School girls will be held
August 14 at 9 a.m. at the West
High School Gym.
NEW ARRIVALS
Gary Tate was best man and
Richard Richter was grooms-
man. Dallas White and Alen
Breire were ushers.
A reception followed the
ceremony at St. Joseph’s Hall.
The newlywed Tates will live
in Hawaii as Gerald is a 1st
Lieutenant in the Army. They
will be stationed there for the
next three years.
Joanne graduated from Con-
nally High School on the 27th of
May. She was a cashier at
McDonald’s. She is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard L.
Gaidusek of Lacy-Lakeview.
The groom is the son of Mrs.
Ruth Stand of 115 Peaceful
Lane.
The bride is the granddaugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Gaidusek of West.
Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Svrcek of
West were honored on their
50th wedding anniversary Sun-
day, July 30, with a mass at
Church of Assumption in West.
Dinner and dance was held at
SPJST Hall in West by their son
Daniel and daughter-in-law
Judy, also of West.
They were married July 31,
1928 in the Church of Assump-
tion in West.
They have five grandchildren
all of West.

named Denise Marie.
