Of Abbott, Dies Age 60, Dies
Jack C. Boyse, 61, of Abbott
died Wednesday afternoon in
West Community Hospital.
Services were at 4 p.m.
Friday, July 28 at Marshall and
Marshall Funeral Home Chapel
in Hillsboro, the Rev. Don
Osada and Rev. Don Strickland
officiating. Burial was at Ridge
Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Mr. Boyse was born Jan. 31,
1917, in Moody and resided in
Abbott 45 years. He was a
member of the Abbott United
Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Juanita Morgan Boyse;
two brothers, C. T. Boyse and
Earl Boyse of Hillsboro; two
sisters, Mrs. Marv Somerhill of
Fort Worth and Mrs. Emaline
Henderson of Abbott; one son,
Danny Boyse of Abbott; two
grandchildren.
The national language clos-
est to English is Dutch.
Isador J. Slay, age 60, of
Waco, formerly of West, died
Tuesday morning, August 1st,
1978 in Waco Veterans Admin-
istration Hospital.
Rosary was recited at 8 p.m.
Wednesday at Connallv-Comp-

Mass of Christian Burial w ill
be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in
St. Mary's Church of the
Assumption in West with Msgr.
Ed. Rabroker officiating, burial

Mr. Slay was born December
18, 1917 in West. He was a
veteran of World War II, he
served in the United States
Army in the European Theater,
and was a member of St. Mary’s
Catholic Church of Waco.
He is survived by his wife,
Dorothy, of Waco; one brother,
Roman Slav of West; 2 sisters.
Mrs. Mary Dolezal of Dallas and
Mrs. Annie Brown of Fort
Worth and several nieces and
nephews.
