P. B. Featherling last Tuesday eve-

Naomi Featherling. honoring Irene
Crutcher on her sixteenth birthday.

a‘long, close-fitting waist, and car-
ried a corsage of gladiolas and rose-
buds, Miss Seott wore a chiffon
frock of'apricot, also with the long
close-fitting bodice. Her corsage
was of pink rosebuds. During tin
ceremony‘she played softly McDow-
ell’s "To a Wild Rose.”
Miss Mary Eloise Wilson, sister
of the bride, was maid of honor
and the first to enter, unattended.

lovely in frocks of orchid organdie,
made with l-mg close-fitted bodice,
and ore hid velvet belts, and the
skirt of three wide,, graduated nif-
ties, reaching to the ankles. They
wore tinted satin slippers and car-
ried arm bouquets of orchid asters,
lied with orchid tulle.
Preceding the bride, little.-Mists
Ncidu Jean .Stiles, sister of the
groom, entered, scattering rose pet-
als ip the aisle. .She wore a little
pink tulle froY.k with three tiny
ruffles on the skirt and the neck
and .sleeves outlined with tiny rose-
buds, She carried an ivory basket
tied with pink maline.
The bride entered oft the arm of
her father who gave her in mar-
riage. They ware met at the altar
by the groom who was attended by
his best man, Bryant Wilson, Jr.
Miss .Wilson was charming in a
modeled gown of flesh chiffon.
The bodice was silhouettte style,
sheered at the hips. The skirt was
of tulle ruffles reaching to the
ankles.. The neckline, was finished
with a graceful bertha collar with, a
tiny pleated tulle ruffle around the
edge. Her slippers were pink satin
and she carried a bouquet of sweet-
heart roses, tied with pink maline.
Her going-away costume was of
