Mrs. A. R. Cummins, Jr., enter-
tained with a canasta party Thurs-
day afternoon, at the summer
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
A. Loy Sims at Fulton.
Mrs. Clyde Mayo won the high
prize and Mrs. Jack Haines won
consolation prize.
Following the gamtt, the host-
ess, assisted by Mrs. $Ims, served
strawberry shortcake and coffee
to the 23 guests present. Those
attending were Mesdames Murry
Stephenson, Clyde Mayo, Sid Mc-
Kinnon, Leo Owen, Charles Hil-
ton, Jr., Ray Fritsche, Joe Thomas,
Leland
Mias Margaret Ann Boley of
Wichita Falls will become the
bride of Harvey Fromme, March
24th in Wichita Falls.
Miss Boley is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Boley of
Wichita Falls
The groom-elect is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. G. W, Fromrtie.
The nuptial rites, which are
scheduled for 8 o'clock, March
24th will be conducted in the
I/Ory Chapel of the First Baptist
Church. Dr. James H. Landes, pas-
tor of the church, is to officiate
during the service. v
Musical selections for the occas-
ion will be provided by ^Miss Jane
Coulter of Olney, vqcalist, and
Tommy Boley of PacKicah, cousin
of the bride, onfanist. Another
cousin, Miss Sdzanne Carr of
Paducah, is to (light the candles
preceding the ctn-emony.
Miss Charlene Berry of Wichita
Falls is to serve as maid of honor,
while the quartet of bridesmaids
are to be Misses Lela Sides, Jo
Ann Childress of Wichita Falls,
Diane Kelson of Leesburg, Fla.,
and Mrs, Donald Boley of Wichita
Falls.
Royce Fromme, brother of the
groom-elect is to participate in the
wedding as best than and the
ushers will be Bud Campbell of
Mt. Vernon, James Kpox of Sin-
ton and Donald Boley, brother of
the bride-elect of Wichita Falls.
Miss Boley is a graduate of the
Wichita Falls High School and is
a sophomore student at Texas
Christian University in Fort
Worth. While attending high
school she was a member of the
National Honor Society, president
of the office assistants, and a mem-
ber of the Latin Club. She also
was a member of the Junior
Forum, that organization having
presented her as a debutante in
1949.
Harvey Frompie graduated from
Sinton High School and is a
junior at TCC in Fort Worth,
where he "is serving as captain of
the basketball team.

Nuptials March 24th
Miss Vivian Moss and Glenn
Harding, whose marriage will take
place -, March 24th, in the First
Meth&fst Church, have announ-
ced their wedding attendants.
Miss Sue Schroeder is to serve
as Maid of Honor; Mrs. Robert W.
Parr of Dallas, sister of the groom,
Matron of Honor; Mrs. Richard
Winget, and Miss Jane Lloyd of
Dallas, Mrs. John D. Lomax of,
Lubbock, and Mrs. A. L. Moore of-
Conroe, bridesmaids.
Bill Mungerson of Raymondville
will be best man. Bob Thompson,
Griff Carnes, and Robert Parr, of
Dallas; Tom Masterson of San An-
tonio and J. G. Moss, Jr., the
bride-elect’s brother, have been
named groomsmen.
Patrick McAdoo, cousin of the
bride, and Dickie Burford will
light the candles; Lewellyn Gore,
also a cousin of the bride, will be
soloist. Miss Martha Lou Schroe-
der will play the organ and the
Rev. J. Walker Black of San An-
tonflf"' will officiate, assisted by
Rev. M. C. Stearns,
used at the opposite entj. Bowls of
sweet pea and fern were attrac-
i ^ively .placed at vantage points
atoned^ the living room.
The hostesses presented Miss
Moss with a lovely gift, a hammer-
ed copper tray. Mrs. T. E. Fullick
won the high prize and Mrs. Taft
Morrow wqn consolation prize.
A delicious refreshment plate of
sandwiches, cake and coffee were
served to thh following guests

Friday Afternoon
Mrs. James F. Tracy was host-
ess to the Bridg-ette Club at her
home Friday afternoon.
A lovely bowl of white carna-
tions, euphorbia and green sham-
rocks was centered on the coffee
table.
Mrs. John Beauchamp won high
prize for the club. Mrs. Mary
Peters won high prize for the
guests and Mrs. H. M. Alcott won
cut prize.
The St. Patrick’s Day theme was
carried out in the refreshments of
a salad plate and green embossed
cake.
The three tables of bridge were
enjoyed by members, Mesdames
Richard Kunitz, Jr., Charles Hil-
ton, Jr., T. E. Fullick, Merle
Smith, John Beauchamp and T.
B. Owen, Jr. and guests, Mbsdames
L. L. Campbell, Mary Peters, Cas-
per Gerdes, Jr., E. Charles Lewis,

Mrs. A. V. Vickers was hostess
Heart School held a special called
meeting Friday afternoon at the
Sacred Heart School.
Mrs,. Dave Martin, president,
presided at the business meeting.
It was decided by the club to
cancel the Mexican Supper they
had planned due to so much ill-
ness in the city. The Easter Egg
Hunt will be held as originally
planned, Wednesday, March 21st
at 1 P. M

The Guadalupe Sinton Federal
Credit Union will meet Sunday,
March 18, at 2 P. M, in the Sacred
Heart School, it was announced by
Epifanio Paz, Treasurer and clerk.
All members of the Union are

The Teenage Safety Club met at
Park Welder- March 5th for their
regular meeting.
