Attend Easter Egg
Hunt Friday
Pupils of Miss Erma Lee Kome-
gay’s section of the first grade in
the grammar school, were enter-
tained by room mothers with an
Easter egg hunt Friday afternoon at
the home of Mrs. Ben Coin.
Pat Gamer was the winner find-
ing the largest number of eggs: Jeff
Buis found the golden egg. and H.
E. Boyd the consolation prize.
After an egg hunt refrehmsents
were served from a long table cen-
tered with a bouquet of garden
flowers In a basket, surrounded with
grass that partially concealed
brightly colored eggs. Mrs. J. E.

The Sodville Home Demonstra-
tion Club met Tuesday afternoon at
the Sodville school with Mrs. Clyde
Mayo, president of the club, presid-
ing over the business session. She
called the attention of the mem-
bers to the Flower Show which is
to be held in Sinton, April 24 and
25. Mrs. W. R. Whitely will make
a flower entry, from here. .
Miss Louise Bryant of A & M
College, extension specialist in home
management gave' a talk which
very Interesting, was enjoyed by all
present. .

and accompanied Miss Ludile Aikin,

Aikin.
Mrs. Clyde Mayo, program leader,
gave a talk on “American Hymns",
discussing the origin and history of
several well known hymns. She al-
so described the inspiration that
promoted that composition. Her
talk was illustrated by Mrs. T. J.
Higgins, who played several num-
bers. In conclusion the group join-
ed in singing some of the hymns
mentioned. .

the end of the games high score
went to Mrs. Raymond Biggs, sec-

Beautiful' pastel shades, of lark-
spurs and corn flowers on a reflec-
tor were used as a center piece on
the dinning room table, while a
salad plate with a cut shape in
an Easter egg nest was served to
