Mr. Mann, in Waco, last Friday,
glancing along the tin roof, was car-
reid by the guttering down into a cis-
tern, the bottom of which it totally
demolished.
Tile farmers of Washington county
arc now busily engaged in planting
cotton, and from what we can learn,
there will be at least one-third more

the country have been of much bene-
