New Hose.
The Fire Department re-
ceived 300 feet of Paragon
brand fire hose this week.
This hose in addition to what
the department already has
gives them adequate supply to
cope with any emergency that
may arise in fighting fire.

George A. Flessner died at
a local hospital at Moulton
Sunday morning September
7th, aged 21 years, 3 months
and 19 days.Death was caused
from blood poisoning, while
shaving he cut himself slight-
ly with a razor, infection set
in, skilled physicians were
employed, but could not stay
the disease. The funeral oc-
cured Monday afternoon at
3:30 o’clock, the remains be-
ing laid to rest in the Shiner
City Cemetery, Rev. J. Holm
of the Moulton Lutheran
Church officiating.
Deceased leaves to mourn
his death his parents Mr. and
Mrs. Geo. Flessner, one bro-
ther Paul, one sister Irene,
other relatives, and a large
circle of friends.
Mr. Flessner was a*, noble
young man loved and esteem-
ed by all who knew him. He
was a graduate of the Moulton
High School and a member of
the Senior Class of the San
Marcos Normal.
