Approximately 150 members of the
Coleman County Farm Bureau Fed-
eration, met at Talpa, Monday eve-
ning, March 24 for their regular
quarterly business meeting.
Members heard an address by
their Federation legislative director
Charlie Plgg, Waxahachle, who is
stationed at Austin during the ses-
sion of the Texas legislature. Mr.
Pigg told the group ubout current
legislation of vital interest to the
agriculture group, and he urged
more organization from the agricul-
ture groups.

GIVES CONCERT AT
MISS CREEK SCHOOL
The Friendly Fellow Quartet gave
a concert, at the Loss Creek school
last Friday night, In connection
with their box supper, And will
also give a concert this Thursday
night at Shields school. The public
is cordially invited to attend.

Olan Wilson was called to federal
court In Fort Worth last Monday
Mrs. Ike Stephenson took her
small daughter, Wanda Sue. to the
doctor on Monday She had a severe
case of bronchial trouble
Mrs Moore is reported very ill
In a hospital In San Angelo. ‘ Her
friends wish for her a speedy re-
covery.
Roy and Joe Creek went to San
Angelo, Saturday, where the form-
er bought some sheep.
Jozach Miller V, went to Han
Angelo. Saturday, to be at the bed-
side of his father. Mr Billy Miller,
who is sick at Shannon hospital
there.
This community was very sad on
hearing of the death of our com-
missioner W C. Norwood of Gould-
busk He passed away Saturday, af-
ter a brief Illness

Mrs William Gotcher of Moselle
visited Mrs Effle Calder on Sun-
day afternoon.
James Hefner and Martha Jame-
son were married Thursday, March
20, at the home of Rev Jack Skel-

left Immediately on a honeymoon
trip to Carlsbad Caverns.
