To Help Inform people In this
country of the desperate need of
peoples ln war-devastated countries,
the Episcopal church has made a
documentary motion picture, taken
in Europe, and to be exhibited on
u non-commercial basis in Eplscojml
parishes throughout the country

official of the Episcopal Church's
National Council. It Is a sound
picture, and rims In about 26
minutes.

will be Rev W P Gerhart, rector.
Episcopal church, Abilene.
The film contains no "horror”
shots, but alms to show needs, and
how the Christian church Is meeting
needs and performing what is re-
garded as the particular task of
the church as opposed to secular
relief agencies, viz., providing bar-
racks chapels for use as places of
worship, schools and recreation
centers; caring for special needs of
clergy and their families; providing
theological libraries; religious books
to replace the millions destroyed;
clothing, medicines and vitamins,
distributed with utmost' ’ care by
local clergymen "Government ag-
encies can do much to supply the
physical needs of these people," said
a church spokesman, but only the
church can successfully re-estab-
lish human dignity and moral
values."
me Episcopal church is engaged
in raising, among Iks members, a
fund of one million dollars a year
for three years, as its share ln
world relief, this to be disbursed
both In Europe and Asia, through
