20 Churches To Begin Services For
Revival Services
Twenty Baptist churches In Cole-
man county will begin revival ser-
vices Sunday according to Rev T.
Lynn Stewart, moderator of Cole-
man Baptist Association. This is In
co-operation with Coleman Assocla-
ttonal Simultaneous Revival. All of
these churches have services at
•7:30 pm. dally and most of them
will have a morning service at 10
o'clock. The revivals will close next
Sunday, April 6, In most of the
churches.
The following churches will have
revivals: First, Santa Anna; First,
Coleman; Mexican, Coleman; Rose-
lawn, Coleman; North, Coleman;
Assembly Of God
Services at the Assembly of Ood
church for 8unday, March 30, are
as follows:
Sunday school, 10 a m.
Preaching, 11 a.m.
Evening service, 7:15 p.m.
Rev. and- Mrs. Cliff Farrln of
Bangs, will have charge of the
services. The public Is Invited to
come and hear them, announces
Rev. and Mrs. A R. Colbert, pas-
tors.

Commander Speak
Nine Coleman men attended the
Laymen's League Dinner, Sunday,
March 23, at 6:30 p.m. held at the
First Christian church dining room
at Brownwood. honoring Paul H
Griffith, National Commander of
the American Legion.
Col. Griffith was enroute to Mexi-
co on an extensive trip he Is mak-
ing as a representative of the Am-
erican Legion He Is an elder of
the National City Christian church
tn Washington, D. C. Col. Griffith's
address to the group outlined his
trip and stressed the purpose of the
Legion as a service organization.
Those attending from Coleman
were W. O. McKinney, Bill Jones,
Ray Renfro. Carl Fleming, Cecil
Freeman, H L. Pinkerton, Billy Al-
len. Clyde Dixon Allen and A R

schedule of weekly services at Buf-
falo Baptist church:
Sunday school, 10 am
Preaching hour. 11 a m
Training Union, 7 30 pm.
Preaching service, 8 30 p m
The Brotherhood of the church
will meet, tn their regular meeting
Tuesday night, In the church.
The WMS will hold Us meeting
Tuesday' night, also studying the
book of Job.
Immediately following the prayer
service Wednesday night there will
be a choir practice New and young
talent is being discovered in the
sessions of practice
Again mention Is made of the
homing revival, beginning • Friday
night. Everyone who possibly can is
urged to attend both moaning and
evening services. Prayer groups will
be organized to precede each eve-
ning service

hour, the pastor will dedicate In-

ship of the Church.
Revival At North
Coleman Baptist
Church, April 11
Rev J O McCall b, pastor of
the North Coleman Baptist church,
announces, that a revival" meeting
will start' at that church on Friday.

Smith, evangelist, doing the preach-
ing.
The revival Is being held simul-
taneously with other Baptist chur-
ches of the county. Music will be
led by the pastor. The public Is
requested tp keep the date in mind,
and attend the services, by special
invitation.
Navy Recruiter
Here Monday
A Navy recruiter will be in Cole-
man on Monday, March 31, It Is an-
nounced. He wlil be stationed at the
ppst office, at. 11 am.
Veterans have been receiving let-
ters In regard to the Navy reserve
and for further Information they
