ficial inspection of Simpson Elec-
tric Hatchery, Colemans only
hatchery operating under the Nat-
ional Poultry Improvement Plan,
and \has given them one of the
highest ratings obtainable under
the Plan. Out of a score of a pos-
sible 95 points, this U. 8. Approved
Pullorum - Controlled hatchery
scored 94 point®.
Mi*. Bailey also made inspections
of the hatchery supply flocks serv-
ing this hatchery uiid made the
comment that they were some of
the best flocks that he had seen In
Texas Simpson Hatchery started
the blood-testing program in this
part, of Texas and has introduced
several thousand R.O.P. males Into
their breeding flocks.
W. T. Jones Jr., co-owner and
manager of SimpSon Electric Hat-
chery, has long- been a booster for
better chicks for this community,
is past president of the Texas
Baby Chick Association, and; has
been a director in the Texas Poul-
try Improvement Association and
Texas Baby Chick Association for
