We offer to the people of Jack county all of the advantages of a
thoroughly up-to-date and conservatively managed banking institu-
tion. The affairs of the bank are administered by a conservative Board
of successful business men, under the direction af the Treasurer of the
United States. The books are audited at frequent intervals by a com-
mittee of competent accountants’ and examined twice annually by a
special agent of the Treasury Department, thus insuring to our deposi-
tors the greatest security known to the modern Banking fraternity.
Our depositors are among the best citizens of the community; and
if you are not already one of them, a very cordial invitation is extended
to you to become one.
No'deposit is to small to be. welcomed, and equal courtesy is
shown to all, without regard to the size of their balances.

Demonstration Agents Meeting.
It was the editor’s intention to
give a thorough write up at once
of the meeting of the agents of the
Demonstration agents held at Tem-
ple last week, but we returned
home with a case of the grippe and
we have been confined to the bed
part of the time and nearly on the
lift all the time.
So we have concluded to give it
to the readers by piecemeal as oc-
casion occurs. This was the most
interesting meeting we have ever
attended and the most valuable one
as there was much practical know-
ledge gained.
For a Breakfast Appetizer or a Tonic.
There is nothing quite equal to a
full, sugared half of a Florida
Grape Fruit. You may like it
without sugar, especially if you
want the full benefit of the appe-
tite building properties of this re-
markable fruit. They are some
bitter, a peculiar kind of bitter
not liked by some the first time
tested, hut the flavor grows on one
very quickly. So many of our cus-
tomers are using grape fruit every
mornng and the demand for them
is increasing daily.
The largest fruit are 15 cents
each the smallest ones 10 cents
each. Try one this week.
