Rehearsals Set
For Christmas
Pageant Entries
Thirty-three junior high girls
have entered the Junior Miss Spirit
of Christmas Pageant competition
at Coleman High School Auditorium
scheduled at 7 p.m. Saturday,
December 7. A total of 10 couples
are competing in the Little Miss and
Mr. Spirit of Christmas contest.
Mike Coffey of Junction, formerly
with KSTA Coleman, will return to
serve again u master of ceremon
ies. Vocalists Mike Korsenewaki and
D'Ann Tisdale will be providing
entertainment.
The rehearsal for the Little Mr.
and Miss Spirit entries will be at
6:30 p.m. Friday, December 0, at
CHS Auditorium. Rehearsal for the
Junior High Miss Spirit entries only
will be at 4 p.m. Friday afternoon at
CHS. Chairman Cheryl Coats stress

Owen I vie Will Meet
With Council Thursday
Coleman and Coleman County's
future involvement with Stacy Lake
as a water supply will be the subject
of a meeting here Thursday after-
noon, December 5, at 8:00 p.m. at
the City Hall.
Meeting with the council will be
Owen Ivie of Big Spring, general
manager of Colorado River Munici-
pal Water District. This will mark
the first session of Mr. Ivie meeting
with the council. It is expected that
he will give a full explanation of
water availability from Stacy, the
Santa Claus Will
Visit Thursday
At Chamber
Santa Claus will be visiting with
the children from 6 to 8 p.m. on
Thursday nights at the Chamber of
Commerce office, 116 Commercial,
beginning December 5.
Other nights to visit with Santa
will be Thursday, December 12 and
19. On the 19th, there will also be a
sing-a-long program of Christmas
music on the courthouse lawn and
the Chamber will be serving hot
chocolate.

will be selling fresh balsam wreaths
on Friday, December 6th, at the
Miller Building on the Courthouse
Square. The proceeds from this sale
will go to help pay the expenses of
renovating the Miller Building for
use as a meeting room.
The wreaths are 616.00 without a
bow, but bows will also be available
to attach to the wreaths. All
perty and equipment as per specifi-
cations.
