Saturday, March 31, at a
party hosted by his par-
ents, Jay and Cecilia Dal-
ton of Gouldbusk. Ryan's
birthday was actually
Thursday, March 29.
The theme of the party
was “Care Bear”. After
gifts were opened, Ryan
and guests were served a
bear shaped cake, home-
made ice cream and lemon-
ade.

Coleman, died at 2:30 a.m.
Saturday at his home after
an apparent heart attack.
Services were at 10:80 a.m.
Monday at Walker Funeral
Home.
The Rev. Pat McClatchy
of First United Methodist
Church officiated. Burial
was at Coleman City
Cemetery.
Born June 28, 1908, in
Coleman, he was the son of
the late Arther and Mary
Beck Horne, Coleman
pioneers. He married Jean
Day, July 26, 1942, in
Bryan. He was a graduate
of Coleman High School
and received his bachelor’s
degree from the Univer-
sity of Texas. He was a
Hereford breeder and ser-
ved on the board of direc-
tors for First Coleman
National Bank for 43 years.
Also, he was a lifetime
member of the American
Hereford Association, a
charter member of the
Coleman Rodeo Associa-
tion, a member of First
Christian Church and a
former member of a Ro-
tary Club.
A brother, Jack, preced-
ed him in death.
Survivors include his
wife; a daughter, Mrs.
Matt (Marilyn) Lorz of
Edmonds, Wash.; a son,
Robert A. Jr. of Talpa; and
three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Max
Horne, Jack Horne, Zeno
Hemphill, BUI Sneed, Bill
Day, Bud Turner, Rex
Bland and David McGahey.

Born Nov. 1, 1906, in
Anderson County, he was
the son of the late Andrew
and Minnie Ann Dunnam.
He was a veteran of World
War II, the retired owner
of the Dunnam Mattress
Factor in Snyder and a
Baptist. He moved to Cole-
man in 1981 from Snyder.
Two brothers preceded
him in death.
Survivors include two
sisters, Mrs. Edna Mae
Bunt of Coleman, and Mrs.
Ruby Knight of Weather-
ford; a brother, Fred of
Fluvanna; and several
nieces and nephews.
Nephews will be pall
bearers. Interment will be
in the Old Snyder Ceme-
tery under tk]e direction of
Bell-Seale funeral Home.
Walker Funeral Home
was in, charge of local
arrangements.

Jeraldine Greaves, 65, of
Colorado City, died Satur-
day morning at her home.
Services were at 10 a.m.

tor, officiating.
Additional services were
at 3:30 p.m. Monday at
Central Baptist Church in
Coleman, with the Rev.
Bob Grayson of Fort
Worth and the Rev. Ed
Bigham, pastor, officiating.
Burial was at Coleman
Cemetery, directed by
Kiker Seale Funeral Home
of Colorado City.

ments.
Born Feb. 15, 1919, in
Coleman, she married W.
C. Greaves Feb. 16, 1936,
in Coleman. She moved to
Colorado City from Cole
man in 1955 and was a
member of Calvary Baptist
Church.
Survivors include her
husband; three daughters,
Rita Faye Fisher of Whit-
ney, Patricia Lou Bakouris
of Hurst and Roxie An-
nette Strain of Colorado
City; two sisters, Estelle
Hamilton of Coleman, La
vona Morgan of Irving; a
brother, Wesley Jackson of
Brownwood; 10 grand-
children; and four great-
grandchildren.

April 8 at 2:00 p.m. in
Stevens Memorial Chapel,

Mrs. Brinson died Fri-
day, April 6, 1984 at 3:35
a.m. in Overall-Morris
Memorial Hospital.

was the daughter of Rob
ert Coleman Beal and Lela
C. Smith Beal. A resident
of Coleman County sice she
was a child, she was a
member of Central Baptist
Church. On November 11,

Douglas, Kansas, died Sat-
urday, April 7 at 6:15 a.m.
in Douglas Nursing Center
in Douglas, Ks. Funeral
services were held Monday
at 2 p.m. in United Metho-
dist Church in Douglas.
Graveside services are set
for 3:00 p.rp. Wednesday in
the Santa Anna Cemetery
under the direction of
Henderson Funeral Home
of Santa Anna. Stephen
Ramsdell, pastor of First
United Methodist Church
of Santa Anna, will offic-
iate.
Mrs. Gehrett was bom
August 2, 1888 in Rock,
Kansas, the daughter of
William and Catherine
Jackson Bailey. On March
7, 1908 she married Sher-
man Gehrett in Norte*.

mother, Mrs. Freda L.
Thompson of Midland; a
daughter, Mary Helen
Wilkins of Houston; two
sons, Mark Lee Thompson
and William Robert
Thompson, both of Hous-
ton. Local survivors are
Miss Cleo Thompson, Mrs.
Maynard Gaines and Tim
Thompson.
