Church Sunday morning,

little while Sunday even-

(Dick) Jamison were Sun-
day dinner guests of Sarah
and Daniel Real. Sarah and
Virginia made Christmas
cookies for Christmas par-

Neal Stacy of Smithville.
He told them that his
brother, Dwain Stacy of
Odessa, had died sudden-
ly with a heart attack. He
asked the Pyburns to go to
his mother's home and tell
her of his brother, Dwain
Stacy’s death, and stay
with his mother until he,
Jimmy Neal and wife, can
get to his mother’s house
at Voss. The Pyburns are
Mrs. Stacy’s close neigh-
bors. They, of course, went
immediately to Mrs. Ozelja
Stacy's house .and stayed
until the Jimmy Neal
Stacys arrived. Mrs.-Stacy
went with the Jimm^Neal
Stacy you to Odessa. We
have learned from June
Pyburn that Dwain Stacy’s
funeral will be held at a
funeral home Wednesday
in Odessa; burial to be in
Odessa Cemetery. Heart-
felt sympathy to our be-
loved neighbor, Mrs.
Ozella Stacy.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Stewart -are the proud
grandparents of a baby
granddaughter born at the
Fredericksburg Hospital
on November 22, weighing
seven pounds, thirteen
ounces. Parents of the
baby are Mr. and Mrs.
Charles: Stewart. The new
baby has been named
LaDawn Cherie.

home for Thanksgiving.
They had an enjoyable
Thanksgiving dinner and a ■
very happy time.
Our community received
some moisture in the form
of a slow drizzle last week-
end. Everyone who re-
ported got less than a full
inch. We received a little
more than seven-tenths of
one inch. The moisture is
good for the winter grain
and the pastures.

ner visited her mother,
Mrs. Julia Jamison, Sun-
day.

oughs, the Johnny Jami-
sons and William Lynn
(Buck) Jamison were in
Mrs. Julia Jamison’s home
putting a new top on her
kitchen cabinet and coun-
tertop.

Elton Pyburn and their
three young daughters ate
dinner in his parents, the
R. E. Pyburn’s home on
Sunday and they decorated
the Christmas tree for
June Pyburn while they

Chamber of Commerce in
Coleman and at the Cole-
man newspaper office. Af-
ter the family history is
completed you are asked to
mail the material to Mr.

Maj. Bob Turner and his
family left immediately
after church Sunday morn-
ing to attend a Christmas
dinner for the entire per-
sonnel of the 490th Civil
Affairs Company at Abi-
lene. Also the Bob Tur-
ners, including the entire
family, were guests at the
fireman’s banquet Satur-
day night. Bob Turner, as
members to drop by for
festive “goodies” and "just
a good ole talk.”
