physicians, and until we finally got hold of your
remedy, found no relief: but after taking your
remedy for a few days only, we have results
that are simply marvelous. I send you this

It is believed in packing house cir-

son of the late G. F. Swift, will be-
come the president of Swift & Co.
The first vice president of the com-

late president. Mr. Swift lives in Bos-

not care to assume the actual direc-

NEW CURE FOR JfNSUMPTIOM.
[over Eighty Per Cent in the First
Stage and Seventy Per cent in the
Second Stage of This Disease Are
Cured by the New Ozonoform Treat-
ment.
As to a cure for consumption, there
has been endless theorizing and num-
berless ‘’cures” have been advocated,
practiced and abandoned. Those pro-
posed have generally been based on
the alleged discovery of some mysteri-
ous compound having the effect of ar-
resting the disease.
There are of course very pertinent
reasons why these “discoverers”
should withhold from the public in-
formation as to the nature of their
remedies, hut if this is necessary, it
is hardly likely to beget widespread
confidence.
The Ozonoform Treatment.
The new Ozonoform Treatment for
Consumption, which has been intro-
duced by Dr. Frederick J. Fielding and
is now being tried' with the above sat-
isfactory results at the Fielding insti-
tute in the Hicks' building, San Anto-
nio, is sharply differentiated from the
other (so-called) cures—first is the
fact that its nature is openly pro-
claimed by its originator, Dr. Kretch-
meyer, of Berlin, and second, that it is
founded, not on some sudden and acci-
dental discovery of a curative sub-
stance, but on the results of years of
study and experimentation along the
lines which modern scientific thought
has indicated as the most likely to
bring about satisfactory results.
Get Dr. Fielding’s Book.
A full description of the new Ozono-
form Treatment, together with much
information of value to consumptives,
is contained in a book which has re-
cently been published by Dr. Field-
ing. It is a handsomely illustrated
work, and everyone interested in the
subject should write to Dr. Fielding at
the Hicks Building, San Antonio, Tex-
as, for a copy of it. It is sent free of
charge.

It must be apparent to every one that
qualities of the highest order are neces-
sary to enable the best of the products of
modern commerce to attain permanently
to universal acceptance. However loudly
heralded, they may not hope for world-wide
preeminence unless they meet with the
general approval, not of individuals only,
but of the many who have the happy
faculty of selecting, enjoying and learn-
ing the real worth of the choicest prod-
ucts'. Their commendation, consequently,
becomes important to others, since to
meet the. requirements of the well in-
formed of all countries the method of
’manufacture must be of .the most per-
fect order and the combination the most
.excellent of its kind. The above is true
:not of food products only, but is espe-
cially applicable to medicinal agents and
•after nearly a quarter of a century of
growth and general use the excellent
remedy. Syrup of Figs, is everywhere
•accepted, throughout the world, as the
best of family laxatives. Its quality is
(due not only to the excellence of the
combination of the laxative and carmin-
ative principles of plants known to act
most beneficially on the system and pre-
sented in the form of a pleasant and re-
freshing liquid, but also to the method
,of manufacture of the California Fig
.•Syrup Co., which ensures that uniformi-
ty ancl purity essential in a remedy in-

answer at once that it is an excellent
laxative. If at all eminent in his pro-

laxatives and their effects upon, the svs-

’of family laxatives, because it is sim-

sweetens the system effectually, when
a laxative is needed, without any un-
pleasant after-effects. Every well-in-
formed druggist of reputable standing
knows that Syrup of Figs is an excel-
lent laxative and is glad to sell it, at
the regular price of fifty cents per bot-

order to get. the beneficial effects of
Syrup of Figs it is necessary to buy the
