home Thursday afternoon at three
o'clock. Those present were the

R. C. Dillon, (Mrs. J. Walter
Mayo, Jr., Mrs. Edwin Ivey, Mrs.
A. F. Tasch. Mrs. Bob Blake, and
the hostess. Games of bridge were
enjoyed at the conclusion of which
Mrs. J. Walter Mayo received the
award for having high score and
Mrs. Edwin I very received the
traveling prize.
The hostess served a refresh-
ment plate.

University of Minnesota in May
and treated with 60 poinds of
borax to the acre, did not become
infected with rust disease. How-
ever, as the borax burned some of
the flax leaves it is believed that
