Shirley Anton and Arlene
Rosenthal, both members
of the Mayor’s Committee
on the Status of Women,
tell me that in an effort to
meet the needs of women in
our community, a forum on
the problems women face
and the assistance they
may obtain under the
present laws will be held
this Wednesday evening,
the 10th, 7:30 p.m., in City
Council Chambers, City
Hall. A panel of experts will
be present to discuss
Credit, Pensions and Social
Security, Employment and
Education. Women as indi-
viduals or representing
organizations are cordially
invited to attend the forum.
At long last, women are
making strides in receiving
due recognition!

posts this greeting to her
fellow travellers: “Hello
from Israel! Hope every-
body’s doing fine and in
good health — as for me I
couldn’t be better. I love it
here — it sort of grows in
your heart, but you already
know that. Say hi to
everybody, Love, Michele”.
