fold. Lt. Kopel, aboard the USS
Van Voorhes, has been on a four
months goodwill cruise to South
America with the Navy. Young
Peter celebrates his fourth births
day Dec. 5 with a fun and good-
ies party at grandparents house.
Mr. and Mrs. Harrold Kallen-
berg and daughters Beth and
Anne, are anticipating their Dec-
ember holidays with a funfest in
Acapulco and Mexico City. Mrs.
H. M. Rosenberg, of Atalnta, Ga.,
was in Dallas for the festive
feast and to attend the announce-
ment party of her granddaugh-
ter, Miss Joanne Rosenberg and
Donald Wayne Wilson on Nov-
ember 28. Other out of town
guests attending the party given
by Mr. and Mrs. Leon J. Rosen-

nounce the engagement of their

Thanksgiving day had a dou
ble meaning for Louis Lebowitz,
son of Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Leb-
owitz, 4437 Livingston, for he
won the junior singles trophy
in the Thanksgiving Tennis Tour-
nament at Samuells Park and
placed second in the doubles
Louis, 17 year old senior at High-
land Park Hi, has so many tro-
phies the folks are considering
a special place for them. This
summer he won the Illinois State
doubles—the City championship
doubles and singles and mixed
doubles with his sister, 13 year
old Beverly, the Dallas Athletic

Championship 1964-1965, also in
1964-1965 the District champion-
ship and has had an invitation
to play in the National Tourna-
ment in the Sugar Bowl, in New
Orleans at Christmas. Sister Bev-
erly has won two trophies of her
own and seems on her way to
be stiff competition.

Congratulations to Dr. Paul
Greenberg as he begins practice
in his new office at Northwest
Highway and Hillcrest. Paul and
Claire Greenberg, have three
sons and a daughter, Randy,

Brides, on the calendar, con-
tinue their happy way. Miss Shir-
ley Lewis and her fiance, Ste-
phen L. Mendelsohn, had a glor-
ious Thanksgiving, weekend in
Louisiana with his family. They
were hosted Nov. 27 with a lun-
cheon given by Mrs. A1 Solo-
mon and Mrs. Isadore Liebrech
at the Liebrech home in Mon-
roe, La. That evening a cocktail
party for 60 members of the
family, was given by Mr. and
Mrs. Saul Mintz, at their home in
Monroe. The Spinster dinner is
planned for December 15, by
Mrs. Allen Lutermani, at the
home of her mother, Mrs. Yale
Gandy, 7231 Centenary.
