DALLAS DOINGS
Helen Neuberg has taken a thrilling trip into her past in the
last month. She has located and been found by long lost
cronies and relatives she never dreamed of seeing again. On
Sunday, March 11, Helen, the wife of Milton Neuberg, greeted
a guest she had not seen for 27 years when Ida Rotter stepped
off a Dallas-bound plane from Chicago. Helen and Ida had been
friends in Poland and Germany and had gone through the war
together. They attended each others’ weddings but had not
seen each other since.

Last month, the Neubergs went to Argentina to see Rosa
De La Goldman, the sister of Helen’s mother. Helen had never
before seen her 80 year old aunt. Then in Rio de Janeiro,
Helen visited a friend she had not seen for 33 years. They had
parted at the age of 14 when the war broke out. Ida and Mr.
and Mrs. Neuberg were in Houston last weekend to see a
mutual friend’s son get married. Although she appreciates her
recent luck and will never forget it, Helen says tnat in the next
few weeks she would welcome a return to more familiar faces.
