HILTON INN HAS INSIDE TRACK ON MAKING
HOLIDAY GUESTS HAPPYr COMFORTABLE
AND CLOSE AT HAND DURING HOLIDAY SEASON
Can a North Dallas family have longer blink an eye at sending
too many friends? No. How aboijt their overflow to a nearby hotel
holiday house guests? Yes, says for holiday lodging.
Ed Janus, General Manager of Hil-
ton Inn, whose phone has been
jingling like0 a crazy sleigh bell
as area households reel happily
from a record blizzard of visiting
kinfolk and friends. “At a friends’
house in Park Cities the other
night, I counted 11 guests,” Janus
told The Post. “The hosts managed
to handle eight of them, but the
others were put up at Hilton Inn.”
Janus explained that hosts no
longer blink an eye at sending
Guests pre-
fer it, too. They get all the togeth-
erness of a reunion without put-
ting their hosts on the spot.” Janus
added the Hilton Inn, in its frist
Christmas season, probably got a
lion’s share of such bookings be-
cause of its identification with the
North Dallas community. “On a
clear, fast night, we’re about 10
minutes from our farthest neigh-
bors,” he said. “If it’s snowing,
stretch that to 15 and we’re still
friends.

Israel Philatelists
By DR. JEROME BYERS
In the Fall of each year new
stamp catalogs for 1969 are pub-
lished. The favorite among most
U.S. collectors is Scott’s Standard

favorite is Minkus World Wide

various subjects on stamps, such as
religion, flowers, ships, animals,
medicine, and many others.
The Society of Israel Philatelists
publishes many specialty catalogs
for its members, such as Transli-
teration of the Tabs of Israel
stamps, Rishon Le Zion, and the
Postal System of Israel.
It must be realized that the prices
reflected in these catalogs should
be used as a guide as they do not
usually represent the retail market
price of the stamps. For current
market prices, the collector must
