the United Jewish Appeal
Women’s Division Dec. 9 at the
National Conference of the UJA.
Held at the New York Hilton
Hotel, the meeting was attended
by more than 2,000 representa-
tives from 250 communities
throughout the country.

the country to add spirit, vitality,
and the special sensitivity
necessary to make the 1972
United Jewish Appeal campaign
the most successful in UJA

the Women’s Division raises
about 12% of the funds in our
community campaigns. We aim
to increase that percentage this
-year.”
Mrs. Siris brings to her new
position the expertise in cam-
paigning necessary to achieve
this goal. In addition to her
humanitarian service, which in-
cludes being the guiding force
behind the building of the Edith
Lehman High School in Dimona,
Israel, where she was made an
honorary citizen, she was a dele-
gate to the General Assembly of
the Reconstitution of the Jewish
Agency and is Secretary of the
American Zionist Youth Founda-
tion. She also serves as a trustee
of the United Israel Appeal and
the Council of Jewish Federa-
tions and Welfare Funds.
