The Edna JC's moved into first
place by defeating the Rotary 6-4
as the Little League season draws
to a close tonight. A game saving
catch is right field by Jimmy Mill-
er was the highlight of the game
as Henry Hartman chalked up his
second win in going the distance.
The Rotary w a s leading 4 - 2
going into the fourth inning but the
JC’s pushed across 3 runs to go in
front. The big blow was a 2 run
single by Hartman to tie the score.
Jimmy Miller drove home h i s
brother with a double to add an in-
surance run in the fifth.
The Rotary's big guns were Den-
nis Bell, Jerry Heggam, and Dick
Sawyers who each collected t w o
hits.
Bell was the losing hurler.
