Mr. and Mrs IL. N. Sasse and
daughter Pat returned last week
from a vacation visit to Gates-
ville and Houston.
Mr and Mrs. R. D. Ilarvey
and daughter Jan have returned
home to Hull after a visit avith
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Davis. Cecil
John, son of the Davis’ returned
home with them for a visit.
While the Harveys were here,
Mrs. Davis entertained Mrs. Har-
vey with a dinner. She served
barbecued chicken, potato salad,
bread, doughnuts, Kolachys, lea,
coffee and strawberry fruit
salad to the following ladies,

Sadler, Nob Fitzpatrick, F. A.
Toud and ^daughters Linda and'
Susan, who came in later, and
the honoree Mrs. Harvey and
Jan.
Mr and Mrs. W. E Crowe

May 26 for a vacation visit with
relatives in West Virginia.
Mr. and Mrs. Jess Cope anti
son Bill Scott left Thursday for
a vacation in Frenchburg, Ken-
tucky, where they plan to visit
relatives. Mrs. Cope’s mother.
Mrs. T. D. Plant stopped over
in Katy to visit a brother while
they were gout.
Mr. and Mrs. Amos Schubert
left Friday for East Texas to
spend the weekend with Mr*
Schuberts sister. Another sis-
ter was to meet them there.
Tins sister lives in Arkansas.
Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Paulson
drove to Houston last Thursday
to take Sam Grimes to catch a
plane to attend the funeral of a
brother who lived in another
state. Our sympathy is extend-
ed to Mr. Grimes in his sorrow.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Munn
and daughters Kathy and Lee
Ann of Bay City are visiting
relatives here this weekend.
A number of Industrial band
members left by bus Sunday
afternoon with the band direc-
tor A. J. Fassino, for the South-
west Texas hand camp.
