I was happy to get a phone call
from Beth Looney, but sorry to hear
that Tom Fromby had a heart attack
and a stroke. He is able to walk and
still lives at his home in Lone Oak.
Jeanie and Kelly Barrett had
Christmas with the Barretts Sunday.
We missed them at church. We also
missed Vickie and Michael Sulin
and granddaughters, Re Re, A1 and
Chase Phillips, Rick, Hilda, and
Shantil Ellison and Kody Wallace
and Jeani Wilson. It was nice to
have Arvis Asbill, Marie Riggins
and the Almands at church Sunday.
Irma Spinks is feeling better after
having a few bad days and nights.
Some of the men from Elm
Church helped Glen and Marie
Riggins get wood for their stove
Saturday.
Lacey Bishop reported a good
time on their trip to Marshall. The
lights were very pretty, the food
was good, and she had fun ice skat-
ing. The trip was for the Jr. High
Student Council. Lacey helped me
Saturday, and we enjoyed hearing
her tell us about the trip and school.
Buena Jennings, Gwen Holman,
W.B McLeroy and Jewel Daugh-
erty visited Verna Barrett and found
her nol feeling very well.
We enjoyed a visit from Eva
Parkman and Ruby and Woodrow
Asbill this week.
Martha Lyle took Kate Bruce to
buy groceries, and Kale stopped by
to give us a Mature Living maga-
zine, which we enjoy.
June Millet goes for tests every
six months, and she got a good
report, so she wrote me. She plans
to visit Elm Cemetery during

Christmas. She said to tell everyone
“Hello.” June lives in Garland and
James Miller lives in Copeville.
Lorene and Romie Hennen both
saw their doctors. Lorene got a shot
for her back. I sure hope it helps
her. Romie’s feet are really hurting
him a lot.
Jewel had some good days this
week. Her shoulder wasn’t hurting
much.
Megan Bishop's ball team will be
playing for State next weekend.
Hilda Ellison reported that there
were lots of people at Canton. She
did some Christmas shopping there.
I hope everyone has a nice week.
