student at RHS and is this week's "Student of the
Week." Todd serves a3 Vice President of the Senior
Class and future farmers of America. Mis favorite ac-
tivity i6 athletics and he plans to attend Baylor Uni-
versity after graduation to pursue studies in Business
Law. Todd is the son of Bill A Shirley Garrett of
Emory. Congratulations, Todd!'

Last Wednesday Mrs. Run-
ion's third grade class
presented a 3-act play en-
titled "Thank You, In-
dians, Thank You, Pil-
grims" for the parents and
other third gratle classes.
The children did a de-
lightful job and their
costumes were especially
creative.
Along with their
teacher, Mrs. Teresa Run-
ion, you could tell they
had really put a lot of
work into this. Congratu-
lations to each adn every
one of them for a job well
done.

The Lady Wildcats started
their basketball season
November 22nd with a 63-24
win over the Lone Oak girls
basketball team.
The Lady Wldcuts hod a lit-
tle trouble with first gome
gltters, but soon settled down
to finish the gome with ease.
The Holns V/Ndcats had two
girls scoring In double digit*.
Kim Lair bod twelve point*
and JEI Kerr hod fourteen
points. Other members were
close with Carla Bryant 7
points, Carmen Clifton 8
points, Sharon Holt 6 points,
and Carlo Luckett 8 points.

The Lody Wildcats troveled
to Mlneola Saturday,
November 30th to ploy the
Mlneola Lody Yeilowjockets.
The Lody Wildcats come
away with o 64-47 victory.
The girls are really working
hard In basketball, with much
dedication being shown by oil
team members.
Scoring for the girls was
headed by Kim Lair with 22
points. Carmen Clifton added
17 point* followed by JEI Kerr
with 14 points. Carla Bryont
dunked 8 points to help the
Lody Wldcats.
If you hovent been to see a
basketball game, please come
