The Silas News
By Mrs. Lamar Perkins
Sunday afternoon. Sept.
8th. a week of this
month already gone.
When your writing the
news each week time
just flies t»y. It seems
I barely get one weeks
news written and its
time to write again. We
really enjoyed the rain
Friday just didn't get
enough. We went to Cen-

and on our way home
over in Huber and Plea-

cane through a flood.
We left our windows o-
pen and we were jirst
sure we had wet beds
etc., but when we got
here it hadn't rained
any.
We had 60 in church to-
day as this is Bro.
Rose1s last weekend
with us. We served them
lunch at the Fellow-
ship Hall. We had a
delicious table of
food. Most everyone at
church stayed for lunch
and everyone there
really enjoyed the food
and fellowship.
