Negron, 65, continues to perform concerts and sing 3 Dog
Night hits such as "One," “Eli's Coming," “Mama Told Me
(Not to Come)" and "Joy To the World," plus some of his own
later solo work. “I am very proud to have
been a part of 3 Dog Night and all
that music, It s a [tart of the American
landscape,” says Negron, who went
solo in 1977 after the band had run
its course. The father of four says his

Whatever happened to Tony Danza? We
watched his show every morning, then, all at
once, no Tony.
—Joanne Writers. Chkkasha. Okie/.
As most viewers of I be loi/y Danza
Sb/iti know, actor and host Danza, 56,
also is a song-and-dance man. When
his daytime show was canceled in
May 2006, he signed on tor
a stint as Max Bialystock in
the musical The Producers on
Broadway. He enjoyed the role
so much that he agreed to
reprise it at the Paris Hotel
in Las Vegas, where’s he
expected to remain through
the end of the year. He
splits his off time between
homes in New York and
Los Angeles. 1 feel like
life has changed a little bit
in the last couple of years,
and now I am looking
at it a little differently,”
he says.
