Hico planning “Anitque and
Collectibles What’s it Worth” Fair
Come to our Appraisal Fair at the Blair Building, 111 W. First
Street in Hico on Saturday, November 26, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 3
p.m.
Tell us what you have and we will appraise it for a fair amount.
The charge is $6 per item or $ 15 for three items. Please come and
bring your dolls, coins, quilts, crockery, books, furniture, china,
glassware, Indian artifacts, firearms, lamps, cowboy articles, spurs,
and collectibles to be appraised.
The Fair benefits Hico Historic Preservation Assn. For more

Benefit dinner and
concert Saturday
A benefit dinner, auction and concert will be held Saturday, Nov.
19 at DeLeon City Hall honoring Brad Dyson and his family.
Dyson, who grew up in DeLeon underwent major heart surgery last
month and is currently recuperating at his home.
A barbecue dinner, catered by Hard Eight Restaurant, will begin
at 5 p.m. The Bart Crow Band and Chris Pittman and Darwin
Archer will perform throughout the night, continuing until
midnight.
Attendees are also encouraged to participate in the scheduled
auction. Items donated include a saddle, a .22 rifle and Justin boots.
A minimum donation of $6 per plate is suggested for the dinner.
Funds are also set up at Fanners and Merchants Bank in DeLeon,
First National Bank of DeLeon and American State Bank in
Comanche for contributions,
