Quite a number of candidates
present and enj jyed the
duced Rev. Cleveland of Cslina
who delivered a discourse on the
Reunited Family, a theme most
truly appropriate. It was a
most beautiful tribute to the ones
lying in the cemetery near by,
and in whose memory these ser-
vices are held. He had plainly
touched the hearts of all of us.
Judge Leach was heard to say
that it was the most delightful
talk it had been his pleasure to
hear: remarkable for its simplic-

Many hearts were made happy
by the renewal of old ’Headships
and associations. The writer
was made glad by the hand clasp
of many, but was saddened by
the fact that sickness and death
kept some away.
We hope to meet many more
times with these good folks and
we want to commend the men
and women of this good old fash-

business men at once begun the
agitation of a like move for Cuni-

MEETING AT TABERNACLE
As has been announced from
time to time, Elder Warren E.
Starnes of Denton will begin a
series of gospel sermons at the
Tabernacle in Cumby, Saturday
night, July 19.
You come to each service.
Bring your friends and neigh-
bors. Will not wound your feel-
ings, unless preaching the gospel
as it is written does it. All
should want the truth, as we are
not to be freed until we know
the truth. The invitation is ex-
tended to all. * *
