Last year’s Cinderfella winners
Cinderfella beauty
pageant approaching
Cinderfella 2007 pageant is
fast approaching. The contest
will be on Monday, Feb. 12
beginning at 7 p.m. at the High
School Gym. Tickets can be
purchased from any High
School senior or at the door.
The contest will consist of
the young “ladies” competing in
sports and evening wear. There
will also be a sexy legs contest
with the winners announced
.that night.
All of the contestants will be
senior boys, escorted by senior
girls dressed as guys. All
contestants must be sponsored
by a local business, and anyone
interested-in sponsoring a

Woman's Thursday Club will
be held in Pat Harrell's home.
She will also be giving the
• program, "Blackfoot Indians."

wear a sash bearing the business
name, for instance “Miss Hair
Affair”.

Graduation Celebration 2007.

DeLeon. She seemed to be in
good spirits and doing well.
Troy and Hazel Ashcroft
were guests at Highland Baptist
Church Sunday. He gave a brief
story on .the Gideon Bibles.

after school Monday, then

Jackson and Keaton came for a
day last Saturday.

60th Wedding anniversary and
their father's birthday. Also
attending were sons-in-law,

Michelle Cagle. Everyone had a
great time and much
reminiscing took place.
Nanci House traveled to
Lubbock to hear her piano
instructor perform in a recital
on Saturday then had a lesson
with him Monday morning.
Saturday, Gary, Rhonda
House, Marcie Nabors, Zac and
Lauren House went to Dallas to
visit Marty and Cheryl Hamill
and Family and came home late
Sunday.

Dublin graduate K’rin Nabors Young, a student of Hardin
Simmons University.was named to The President’s List for fall of
2006.
She is the daughter of Teressa Nabors and the late Tom Nabors
and was valedictorian of the Dublin High School class of 2005.
THANKS - Robert Lemons, left, gives a plaque of appreciation to
Dr. Greg Hubbard for his service this past year as president of Erath
County United Way. The United Way year was closed out last week
with a campaign that raised at least $209,000. In charge of the drive
for this coming year are Amy Troutman and Ron Mullins, Lemons
and Lisa Scroggins headed the campaign this past year. Businesses
were given certificates at the ceremony for their help last year.
