SKAGGS SCHOOL CLOSES
Skaggs school, eight miles north-
west of Celina, taught by Misses Opal
Malone and Altene Boals, closed Fri-
day. A program attended by the pa-
trons and friends of the pupils was
rendered Thursday. Friday there was
dinner on the ground and several
hours were spent very pleasantly by
teachers, pupils and parents.
Misses Malone and Boals were elec-
■d for another year.
The rtustees are R. A. Blaine, T. A.
cker and Mr. Hope.
^The school had a 7-months term,
which is said to have been very suc-
cessfully conducted under the direc-
tion of Misses Malone and Boals.
D. T. Phillips of Gainesville spent
Sunday with his family here.
