GOOD SAMARITAN—
Burk Moreland went to Cobb
Lumber to purchase some to-
mato stakes for his garden and
as he was loading them up his
new van, his tire hit a metal plat-
form and made a hole in it and
it became as flat as a pancake.
He tried to fix it and finds he
has all the wrong tools and there
is no way he can change the
tire. Whatever will he do? Just
as he was worrying and won-
dering, Larry Burns stops and
fixes things. What a break.
Larry is truly a help in need. We
do appreciate Larry.
NEW MEXICO— a note
from John P. Tyson - “Good
morning! At least the snow has
all melted save the still white
peaks of the Sangre de
Christos. Barb and I have Spring
Fever pretty bad after a 1091/2
inch snow total winter. You
could say the forest is mois-
ture hysterical. Usns only
delerious as peach trees in glo-
rious bloom; as to the toma-
toes in the greenhouse - let’s
just say they can cuss the chill
in several languages. Our best
to you- thanks for your good
work. Glad to hear your litle
bodies are more
OKEEDOKEE. John”
{Thanks for letting us hear
from you and Barb. We look
forward to it. Hey, 3 7 degrees
is too cold!
We will always miss your
dad and mom. Everytime we
see a vapor trail across the sky
we say, “Hello, John, see you
are busy today! ” He was a
great friend. Keep in touch).

THS CLASS OF 1950 ANNUAL GET-TOGETHER —Nineteen of the thirty known surviving
members of the Timpson High School Class of 1950 met together at the Fredonia Hotel in Nacog-
doches at noon on Friday, April 22, 2005. In addition to the class members, eleven of their

another, and having a good meal together. Everyone is looking forward to continuing this annual
tradition next year... probably in late April. Class members and spouses attending the April 22
event were: David and Helen Billingsley, Howard and Vera Brooks, James Lowell and Barbara
Bogue, Ted and Louise Broadway, Bobby and Lorene Coleman, Tommy and Nannette Collins,
Bobby Gene Crump, Paul Drewery, Evangeline (Franks) Williams, Calvin and Jo Ann Hancock,
Imogene (Hooper) and Doyle Ramsey, Maebelle (Hughes) Yarbrough, Sammy McDaniel, Eloise
(McGee) and Robert Porterfield, Bill and Betty Morgan, LaMerle (Pate) and Don Cockerham,
