Americans take seriously the Boy Scout motto, "Be
Prepared.” We believe in insurance, Social Security
and bank accounts. This person is planning for the
future with savings.
There is another way to prepare to meet the future,
and that is to learn to trust in Him who gives the
future—Eternal God. I -nless we learn to trust Him,
our earthly security leaves us fearful still. If we
learn to trust Him, our fear falls away and vanishes,
though we know not what the future will bring, we
know Who brings the future. The true prepared-
ness for the future is faith in God.
