Record Setting Week
Owners: Seminole Domino's
Location Surpasses Franchise
Opening Week Sales Record
By Dustin Wright
Sentinel Managing Editor
Sweet Pizza, LLC co-owners James and Cassie Gerety hit a home run
with the opening of their Andrews Dominos Pizza location in October,
which broke a global record for new store sales according to a recent Wall
Street Journal report.
After one week of business at their newly opened Seminole location, the
Gerety s appear to have hit a grand slam, according to preliminary numbers
released by Dominos officials on Tuesday.
Cassie Gerety, Franchise Operating Partner for Sweet Pizza, LLC - the
operators of 11 Permian Basin Domino s locations - stated their Seminole
location, which officially opened its doors to the public on Jan. 13, had
an estimated 9-percent increase in order volume over the record setting
Andrews location in its opening week.
"Its an amazing feat to sit here and think about,” said Cassie Gerety in a
Tuesday morning telephone interview with the Seminole Sentinel.
The local Domino s franchisee stated in the Seminole store s opening week
- Jan. 13 through Sunday, Jan. 19 - over 3,400 orders were taken and
over 5,400 pizzas were baked at their south Seminole location.
Dollar figures for the opening week sales were not disclosed by Gerety
on Tuesday, but are anticipated to be above the $76,076 of food sold by
the Andrews Dominos location in October.
News of the feat was released late Sunday evening by the local franchisee
via the Seminole Domino s location Facebook page, which had2,745' Tikes''
as of presstime Tuesday.

"We literally had no place to put our orders. We had orders
stacked on top of orders and had all three of our ovens full of
pizzas, cooking as fast as we could."
