have a great work ethic and are always willing to help someone else These
two young ladies have just taken on the huge project of putting together a

Livingston High School - Congratulations to juniors Rachel Bond and al-
ternate Jessica Dominguez for being selected by the faculty to represent Liv-
ingston High School at American Legion Auxiliary Texas Bluebonet Girls
State at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin. June 12th-19th this summer
Girls State is a nation wide program with sessions held in all 50 states each
summer The duties, rights and responsibilities of citizenship are taught
through the actual participation in this “mythical"' 51st state. The “citizens
of Girls State" will actively participate in various political activities of Texas
State government: political parties, the legislature, the judiciary', city, county,
and state government

ingston ISD Green and White
Scholarship program started
with the 1987-88 school year
and has continued to provide
assistance to Livingston High
School graduating seniors in
meeting the expenses of a col-
lege/university or trade/voca-
tional school.
Livingston ISD along
with the scholarship recipi-
ents would like to express our
sincere appreciation to teach-
ers. fund raisers, individuals,
memorials, businesses and
organizations. Without your
continued support, effort and
belief in our students this pro-
grim would not be possible.
If you would like to establish
a scholarship you can do so by
contacting our office at 328-
2306. Our scholarships start
at $500 and up. The amount,
guidelines and recipient are de-
termined by you or we can as-
sist you.
For those of you who would
like to make a donation to the
L1SD G & W Scholarship pro-
gram you can do so by com-
pleting the form below and
mailing it to us along with your
contribution. Checks should
be made payable to the L1SD
G & W Scholarship program.
