Descendant# of the late Mr. and
Mn. Louis Conrad, early settlers
In the Chase community northeast
of Clifton, and their families
gathered at the Womack Lodge
Hall on Sunday, July 11, for their
annual family reunion.
All of the children of the lata
Mr .and Mn. Conrad were present
with the exception of two daugh-
ters, Mrs. A. M. Kunkel (Emilie).
of Clifton, and Mrs Theo Pfundt
(Ottilie), of Cook, Nebraska In
attendance were Mn. A. C. Arlitt
(Emma), of Fredericksburg, and
Lee Conrad, Mrs. John Helms
(Bertha), W. r. Conrad, Mrs. W.
C. Hafer (Selma), and Mrs. Henry
E Hafer (Louise), of Clifton.
Well-filled baskets of food pre-
sided a1 delicious dinner for the
group, and the afternoon was spent
in visiting.
G. A. Ender and Henry D. Hafer
were the new committee members
named to make arrangements for
the next reunion to be held on the
second Sunday in July, 1907, at
the same location. It was voted
that the reunion henceforth be
held biennially, rather than an
nually.
Enjoying the reunion last Sun-

Reunion Is Held
In Clifton Sunday
Annual reunion of the family
of Mrs. J. D. Railsback, a resident
of the Clifton Lutheran Sunset
Home, and the late Mr Railsback
was held on Sunday, July 11, at
the American Legion Clubhouse
In the Clifton City Park.
A covered dish dinner wts en-
joyed at the noon hour, with visit-
ing and reminiscing following dur-
ing the afternoon.
