BAPTIST “TACKY PARTY”
SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY
On Friday evening, January 21,
at 7:30 p.m. the first all-church
social will be held in the education-
al department of the new Clifton
Baptist Church. The pastor and
committee urge every Baptist and
all members of his or her family to
be present at this social.
There will be a covered dish sup-
per, after which a well planned pro-
gram will be given. The social will
be in the form of a Tacky Party—
i judges will announce the winners
j from different age groups. Please
' come dressed “tacky” and be a can-
didate for first place in your group.

held their annual meeting Thurs-
day afternoon, January 13. Com-
plete reports were given and print-
ed copies presented to the members.
The congregation entertained the
circuit meeting in October and a
total of six guest speakers had
preached during the year including
Pastor Loyal Tallakson of Grand-
fdrks, N. Dakota, Pastor P. B.
Hoff, Pastor Perry Simpson,
tor O. O. Brandt and John
Homers tad.
At the election the following
officers were chosen:

er, E. C. Bergman; Trustee, Ben
Anderson; School. Trustee, A. B.
Ulland; Building Fund Committee
and Treasurer, J. A. Bakke; Ceme-
tery Committee, Orin Lund; and
Marvin Lund to act as Treasurer.
