of Clifton met at the City Hall
April 6 with Mrs. Harold Hill, Mrs.
C. P. Coston. Mrs. Edgar Keeling
and Mrs. Jack Tucker as hostesses.
Mrs. Rogstad called the meeting
to order welcoming, three, new mem-
rs—Mrs. George, Harris, Mrs.
erett Wallace and Mrs. Irene
Westlev.
Mrs. Alex Fricke read the min-
utes of the March meeting noting
that it had been decided by the
organization to serve s/turkey din-
ner during the Clifton Fair. Resi-
dents of several years standing
here in Clifton will remember the
turkey dinners with pleasant an-
ticipation.
A better yard contest is being
sponsored by the Civic Society;
details are given elsewhere in this
issue.
During the meeting two invita-
tion$ to the Civic were extended for
worthwhile events to be held in
the near future.
