Birdwell-Taylor wed in double ring service
LIVINGSTON - Jennifer Kay
Taylor of Livingston and Mark
Barnes Birdwell of Denton ex-
changed wedding vows in a double
ring ceremony at 1 p.m. July 25 at
the Camp Cho-Yeh garden gazebo
with Polk County Judge John
Thompson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Alvin
and Linda Holley of Livingston and
Walter and Paula Taylor of Austin.
The groom is the son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. W. Russell Birdwell
of Mission, Texas.
Joel Salazar accompanied himself
on the guitar as he sang "The Wed-
ding Song - There Is Love" and HI
Will Be There."
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, Walt Taylor, chose a
floor-length ivory satin gown fea-
turing a fitted bodice, off-the-
shoulder neckline and a full skirt of
Alencon lace. Her illusion veil was
held in place by a band of iridescent
sequins.
The bride's bouquet was a
nosegay of fresh iris', roses, lilies
and orchids.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at Camp Cho-
Yeh Conference Center.
Members of the house party in-
cluded Valerie Collins, Deborah
Brown, both sisters of the bride,
and Emily Banks, all of
Livingston.
The couple honeymooned in Las
Vegas and returned home to Liv-
ingston.
Die bride is a 1984 graduate of
Livingston High School and a 1988
graduate of Stephen F. Austin State
University where she received a
Bachelor of Business Administra-
tion degree. She is employed with
Polk County Publishing Company.
The groom is a 1975 graduate of
Mission High School and attended
Tulane University in New Orleans
and University of North Texas in
Denton. He is a member of Sigma
Phi Epsilon. He is employed by
Sundowner Offshore Services of
Houston.

ONALASKA-The Friends of the
Heritage Society of the Greater
Onalaska Area held its second
meeting at 7 p.m. on August 6,
1991 at the City Hall in Onalaska
to further develop its program for
establishment of a Heritage

SILVER ANNIVERSARY - Herbie and Barbara Middleton
were married Aug. 18,1966 in Humble. In honor of that occa-
sion, a reception will be hosted by their children on Aug. 17 at
the First Baptist Church in Livingston. Their children are David
Middleton of Houston, Susan Sanders of Dallas and Leon Mid-
dleton of Livingston.
