Wrinkles
are a vicious cycle.
In some dryers the heat that
dries your clothes also bakes
wrinkles into permanent
press.
But you can buy a new gas
dryer with a permanent press
cool-down cycle that turns off
the heat and cools off your clothes.
That means modern gas
dryers won’t add wrinkles to your wash and extra
ironing to your work load. Because they have a
cycle that keeps wrinkles from becoming vicious.

ITEM: If advertising tells you
something about the product,
where you can find it, and how
much it costs, it can be a useful
tool when shopping. Skill in us-'
ing advertising depends on your
ability to pick out information
that can help you make wise
choices in buying foods, clothing
and other consumer goods.
ITEM: Foods are packaged in
fractional weights instead of even
weights to take advantage of the
economics of mass production.
The canning industry has limited
the number of can sizes in which
food is packed, with 35 per cent
of all canned food packed in
nine different can sizes. However
foods of different density are
packed in the same can size,
which results in fractional net
weights.
SUNDAY S A SERMON
ABOUT NOW
Business people often, in a
Joking manner, say to a con-
temporary, “Thanks for what you
did yesterday but, what are you
going to do for me today?”
Many of us often approach the
business of living in the same
manner. We’re much too con-
cerned about right now. We have
forgotten about yesterday and we
won’t worry about tomorrow un-
til it gets here.
Now is an important time. Now
we have the opportunity to do
anything that needs doing. Now,
while we’re thinking about it, we
can take action We can make an
effort. We can achieve something.
But, we can do it better, if we
remember the lessons of yester-
day and at the same time recog.
nize that tomorrow is coming
soon If we do something today
that is not right, that is not
worthwhile, we many not be able
to set it aside from our thoughts
when the new day dawns.
