Miss Emma Parrish.
Mrs. P.L. Patton has returned home after visiting the past
two weeks with her daughters. Mrs. E.B. Posey and Mr. Posey
in Canyon, Miss Alice Patton in Arlington and Miss Ruth Pat-
ton in Grand Prairie.
Mrs. Ernest Spelce has returned home from Ada, Okla-
homa where she visited her brothers. Lyan Prince and Leslie
Prince. While she was there they visited Mrs. Lyal Prince
in Oklahoma City where she is hospitalized and receiving
medical treatment.
Mr. and Mrs. Benny Burris visited Mr. and Mrs. Marlin
Pritchard in Grand Prairie during the week
Audie Bartley of Ladonia visited Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bell.
Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Bell visited her mother, Mrs. L.J. Perry
in Fairview Rest Home Sunday. She is improving at this
time. t

and Miss Clara Rasberry were in Sherman Sunday; guests of
Mr, and Mrs. Harold Tom Cunningham and Mr. and Mrs:
J.B. Cunningham.
Johnny White has returned from a tour of duty in Vietnam.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Howard of Paris visited Mr. and Mrs.
’Jack Ridge and they visited Mrs. Della Walker in Biggers -
Cockran Home.
Weekend guests in the Ridge home were Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Ridge and children, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith all
of Paris.
Mr. and Mrs. Newman Perry visited their son and family
in Fort Worth, Mr, and Mrs. Roy Newman Perry. Mr. Perry
returned home and Mrs. Perry remained for a longer visit.
Stevie Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor is a pat-
ient in Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman.
Mrs. Jack Ridge attended the memorial service for John
Miller in Bonham Thursday afternoon
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Burris ot Richardson and Mr. and Mrs.
Ted Burris of Irving were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Den-
ny Burris.
Several people from here attended funeral services for
Frank Dobbs Saturday afternoon in the Church of Christ.
Relatives and friends from here were in attendance for the
memorial service for Jack Wood Jr. Thursday afternoon that
was held in the First Christian Church in Honey Grove .
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hicks of Honey Grove and Mr. and
Mrs. Denton Stogner and family of Paris were guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Esco Hicks.
Mr. and Mrs, Ron Shults and Jared have returned to Dallas
after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howell,
Mr, and Mrs. Ralph Howell visited their grandson, Jimmie
Williams of Bonham in Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman
Sunday. He was injured in an accident.
Mr. and Mrs. John Bomar visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bobby
Parrish and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fritzler in Dallas Sunday.
Mr, and Mrs. Henry Bomar and Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Sims of
Sulphur Springs have returned from Hereford, Texas.

involved in a two car accident
at the corner of East Ninth and
Lynn Street in Bonham Thurs-
day afternoon. Mrs. Dobbs was
take to the hospital for emer-
gency treatment and released.

Honey Grove OES Chapter Meets
The O.E. S. met in regular stated meeting Oct, 1, 1970
in the Masonic Hall. The meeting opened ritualistically.
with associate matron Elsie Dial presiding. Worthy matron
Gladys Henry is attending Grand Chapter at Houston this week.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Sylvia Armistead reported for the ways and means committee
that the ice cream supper netted $83.10 and the rummage
sales $64. Q7, .November 10. 1970 was tentatively set as the_
date for the bazaar.
An Invitation was read from Denison Chapter to their
friendship meeting October 21, 1970.
The secretary read the yearly report of jr. past matron
Mamie Houston. Due to illness she has been unable to come
and give her report in person.
This being Obligation Night all the officers and members
gathered*around the altar and repeated the Obligation.
At the close of the meeting, delicious refreshments were
served in the foyer. Hostesses were Sue Fields. Cora Eddins
and Sally Young. -Reported
