minutes were read by Mrs. Bill
Blair. Mrs. Jimmy Mullens gave
the treasurer’s report.
Mrs. James F.Dean gave a very

for the coming year, using eleven
tall white candles, signifying each
one of responsible duties.
The meeting was closed with
the group repeating" the Guild ben-
ediction. . ■

The plates were lovely with

Contributions
Honey Grove bail'd mothers have
been well-pleased with the re-
sponse to their request for dona-
tions to replace the concession
stand at the football field. The
building was wrecked, along with
much of the equipment in it by a
recent stormy- Between 8600-8700
have beea^donated thus far with
donations still coming in, It is re-
ported.

CWF Meeting Held
At Church Monday
The Christian Women’s Fellow-
ship met Monday * night at the
church. The meeting opened with
the song, “What a Friend” and
followed by repeating the CWF
prayer.
Mrs. H. L. Ballew presided. Mrs.
H. L. Thompson gave the financial
report. The CWF members would
like to thank all who contributed
to the silver tea that was held in
the church annex recently.
The program was given by Mrs.
W. B. Rieves, "The New Nations
Discover the World-wide Church.”
Miss Ann Clark was the worship
leader and her devotion was “As-
tonished Joy ” Scripture I Chron-
icles 16:30-31., and concluded with
the offertory prayer.. The meet-
ing was dismissed by the society
