In Fishing Accident

critically hurt and are being re

The St. Clair couple were en-

ter having visited with Mrs. St
('lair’s mother. Mrs, Katie Mack,
for a special Mother's Day Cele-
bration.
Mrs St, Clair is believed to be
suffering from a fractured knee,
severe cuts and bruises.

“But we’ve had enough”, ono
cotton farmer remarked. ‘'We
don't need any more rain,” he
concluded.
But more rain for Enni*. and
the hard-hit Central Texas re-
gions, was in store, according to
the weatherman who says an end
to the thunderstorm* Is not yet
in sight. Brooding rain clouds
are likely to dot the State again
tonight and tomorrow.
A weak cool front lies from
about Texarkana southwest to
Del Rio on the Mexican Border,
then northwest into the Big
Bend Country. It has beams
stationary, and isn't expected to
push any farther, and gradually
dissipate.
But m its v/ake will remain
unstable air and a new build up
of moisture from the Gulf Coast.
The result: A new round of
thunderstorms in many sections
of the state.
Mrs. Russel Bryant, wife of
tin* Italy News Herald editor, re*
ported today that some place*
in Italy had recorded rainfall
measuring 5.6 inches, in a short
period ot time. Avalon had 3.50
inches. Mrs Bryant said.
