Today’s problem is to get you used
to seeing patterns that frequently
occur during chess games. This
problem is for Whie to move and
mate in three moves, then next week
we will look at a male in four moves,
then five and finally you will be able
to see six moves ahead to solve a
problem that has similar patterns.
Sounds impossible not really. See-
ing ahead in chess sounds much more
difficult that H really is. Soon you
will be able to say to yourself, I’ve
been in a similar position before.
Now what dkUdo” At that point you
will be able to see several moves
ahead to help you determine the
correct combination.
While to play and male in three ’
moved., ~-V
