for El Paso Tuesday, after send-
ing several weeks here with her
husband, C. C. Earth man. Mrs.

during her stay in this city who

This program was interspersed
with dancing by the young peo-
ple. Elegant refreshments were
served, during the entire evening,
an advertising contest attracted
much attention and amusement.
It wax decidedly an elegant and
enjoyable event in the social circle
of Fort Stockton and enjoyed to
the fullest extent by every guest.
Mr. and Mrs. Cummings and Miss
Rose know just how to entertain,
as was fully demonstrated on this
happy occasion. They request
the Pioneer to express their thanks
to tin* program committee, the
general committee and the Hotel
management for all courtesies
extended.

The Pecos ball team won two
of the three games, played Tues-
day and Wednesday on the Pecos
diamond, between Fort Stockton
and the Pecos team, the score

of Pecos third I to 0 for IVcos.
Pete Paul knocked the only
home run, made by any one dur-
ing the the three games.
