Using this topic Cameron University
students demonstrated the Lincoln-
Douglas (one-on-one) form of debate
for participants of the Debate and Pub-
lic Speaking Workshop for gifted
students. Cameron is one of few uni-
versities that offer such a workshop.
ACTS, sponsored by Archer City
LS.D., attended the event Monday,
February 24, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Mr. Tony Allison of the Department
of Communications told the students
in his introductory remarks that there
were university scholarships in debate
available.
Archer's students, Jace Campbell,
Kate Lunn, Leslie Meeks (fourth
grade), Robin Huffman and Justin Par-

on their own at their third stop which
was McDonald's enroute home. Teach-

ors contributed 26 units of blood. The
goal was 40 units for this visit, and
the effort extended by all the donors
and volunteer workers is greatly
appreciated.
The next scheduled blood drive is

Thank You
Words cannot express the gratitude
we feel toward the friends who have
helped us through the illness and death
of our loved one. Thank you so very
much for every act of kindness be-
stowed upon us, but most of all the
many prayers lifted up to God on our
behalf.
For all of this we will be eternally
grateful.
